Edmund H. Lee

Edmund Lee serves as Lane Powell’s Director of Compliance and Risk Management. He reviews all new firm business to identify and resolve potential conflicts of interest while developing risk management policies aimed at bringing new business and talent into the firm in an efficient and ethically responsible manner.

Edmund has extensive experience in ethical, transactional and litigation matters. Prior to joining Lane Powell, Edmund was Vice President of Corporate Legal Affairs for GreenBox Point of Sale, a blockchain merchant services startup. At GreenBox, Edmund advised the company on transactional and privacy matters. Before joining GreenBox, he served as Conflicts Counsel for Williams Kastner & Gibbs, PLLC, where he provided strategic legal counseling on compliance and ethical issues in litigation and transactions. He also spearheaded the implementation of a new client intake, conflicts and ethical walls process for the firm. Prior to Williams Kastner, Edmund was a Real Estate Litigation Associate at Pite Duncan LLP, where he represented large financial institutions in mortgage dispute, foreclosure and eviction litigation throughout Washington state.
