Vanessa Wong (Marquard), SHRM-CP, CUHRCP

Vanessa Wong (Marquard), SHRM-CP, CUHRCP has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Vanessa is currently working as a Human Resources Manager at Langley Federal Credit Union since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Generalist in Human Resources Operations at the same organization from October 2020 to January 2023.

Before joining Langley Federal Credit Union, Vanessa worked at Aramark for nearly a decade. Vanessa held various positions including Human Resources Manager from January 2016 to October 2020, Human Resources Associate from March 2014 to October 2020, Human Resource Generalist from July 2013 to March 2014, and Human Resource Assistant from September 2011 to July 2013.

Vanessa also gained valuable experience as an intern at the Department of Labor and Industry. Vanessa worked as a Human Resource Intern from January 2011 to April 2011 and as a Compliance Officer Intern from September 2010 to December 2010.

Through their diverse roles in different organizations, Vanessa has developed a strong skillset in human resources management and operations. Their comprehensive experience makes their a valuable asset in any HR-related role.

Vanessa Wong (Marquard), SHRM-CP, CUHRCP pursued their education at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2007 to 2011. Vanessa obtained a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. Additionally, during the same period, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business, specializing in Human Resources.

In terms of certifications, Vanessa obtained the SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential from SHRM in July 2021.
