Shannon Otermat has a strong background in the field of public relations and marketing. Shannon began their career in 1995 as a Public Relations Account Executive at The Tate Agency, where they worked until 1998. Shannon then joined BMC Software as a Public Relations professional from 1999 to 2002. In 1998, Shannon moved on to Bates where they continued their work in public relations until 2003. In 2004, they became a Public Relations Consultant and worked independently until 2010. During this time, Shannon also worked as a Public Relations Consultant at Go Think! from 2007 to 2009. Shannon then took on multiple roles at Langrand, starting as the Director of Public Relations from 2010 to 2016, then becoming the Managing Director of Client Services from 2016 to 2018, and finally assuming the position of Director, Marketing Strategist in September 2018.
