Monique Gordon, BS MSEd, currently serves as an educator at Lantgree Charter Academy since August 2022, following a tenure as a high school science teacher with Iredell Statesville Schools from September 2021 to June 2022, and Savannah-Chatham County Public School System from July 2016 to June 2021, where a diverse curriculum in Environmental Science, Oceanography, Chemistry, Physics, and Horticulture was taught. Monique has also actively volunteered with the Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary Foundation, contributing expertise in K-12 marine education, and has engaged in various environmental and educational volunteer roles, including with Oatland Island Wildlife Center and GA Adopt-A-Stream. Previously, Monique worked as an enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau and as a representative for Primerica, showcasing a multifaceted background in both education and community service. Educational credentials include a BS in Environmental Chemistry from Stony Brook University and a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Dowling College.
