Shankar S

Shankar S has over 18 years of experience in various HR and administrative roles. Shankar is currently the Associate Director of People Operations at Language and Learning Foundation. Prior to that, they were the Associate Director of HR and Administration at TNS India Foundation. Shankar has also held positions such as Director of HR and Administration at SNEHA, Human Resources Lead at Janet Serrao & Associates, and General Manager of Human Resources at Belstar Microfinance Limited. Shankar has a strong background in HR and has worked in organizations such as Habitat for Humanity India, Educate Girls, Agora Microfinance India Limited, Hand in Hand Tamilnadu, and Population Services International, India.

Shankar S began their education in 1996 at St. John's College, Palayamkottai, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce & Accounts. Shankar completed this program in 1999. In 2002, Shankar S enrolled at Madurai Kamaraj University to pursue an MBA in HR, which they completed in 2004. Continuing their education, from 2011 to 2014, Shankar S attended Rajiv Gandhi College of Law, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree specializing in the field of Law.

In addition to their formal education, Shankar S also obtained several certifications. In 2008, they earned a Certificate of Professional Competency in Designing and implementing Assessment & Development Centers from T V Rao Learning Systems Pvt Ltd. Shankar also became a Certified Recruitment Analyst in the same year, through Carlton Advanced Management Institute (CAMI). In 2010, Shankar S obtained a certification as a Certified Compensation and Benefits Analyst from Carlton Advanced Management Institute (CAMI). In 2015, they acquired a Psychometric Assessors Certification from Grey Cells©. Lastly, in 2017, Shankar S obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources - International (SPHRi) certification from HRCI.
