Shiori Zinnen

Shiori Zinnen has six years of work experience. In 2016, they worked as a Crew Member at Chestnut Land Co. In 2017, they worked as a Mentor at Trilogy Mentors, tutoring K-6 students in reading, math, and science on an online platform. In 2018, they worked as a Tutor at Calvin University, supporting tutees' work toward their academic goals by guiding their problem-solving processes, proofing paper drafts, and clarifying confusing parts of the course material. In 2019, they worked at Lanio in three roles: Digital Content Manager, Digital Content Editor, and Digital Marketing Coordinator. In 2020, they worked at Reading Partners as an AmeriCorps Literacy Lead, collaborating with site partner to enroll 33 students in virtual K-4 literacy intervention program, coaching 13 volunteer tutors, and forging positive relationships with students/families. In 2021, they worked at Reading Partners as an AmeriCorps Program Coordinator, leading enrollment (33 students), tutor coordination (40 tutors), family engagement, and progress monitoring for in-school/virtual hybrid K-2 literacy intervention program.

Shiori Zinnen attended Calvin University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics.
