Andrew Slaney

Andrew Slaney is an experienced urban design professional currently serving as the Associate Director of Urban Design at Lanpro since August 2022. Prior roles include Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, where Andrew taught Urban Design concepts and provided student support from January 2014 to September 2022, and Lead Urban Designer at Clendon from November 2018 to August 2022. Andrew's expertise was further demonstrated as Principal Urban Designer for Enfield Council, where responsibilities included establishing a design review panel and advising on major development proposals from August 2016 to November 2018. Prior experience also includes roles as Urban Designer and Planning Officer in various councils, showcasing a robust career in urban design, regeneration, and planning, underpinned by academic qualifications including an MA in Urban Design from Oxford Brookes University and a BA (Hons) in Urban and Regional Planning from Leeds Beckett University.
