Deborah Porter

Deborah Porter has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Deborah is currently the Director of Events at Lansdowne Resort, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of Sales at Sunrise Senior Living from November 2020 to March 2022.

Deborah's previous roles include being the Director of Catering Sales and Conference Services at Hilton Washington Dulles Airport from June 2018 to March 2020, where they were responsible for event planning, budgeting, and team development.

Before that, Deborah served as the Regional Director of Catering Sales (Dulles Region) at B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group from August 2015 to June 2018. In this role, they led a team of sales and relationship management specialists and achieved sales and revenue growth targets.

Deborah's experience also includes being a Conference Center Sales Manager at Executive Conference & Training Center - Dulles from November 2012 to June 2018, and various roles at B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group from 2007 to 2012, including Director of Catering Sales for the Crowne Plaza Tysons Corner and Director of Sales and Catering for Hampton Inn & Suites Dulles.

Deborah started their career as a Youth Leader at Oakton United Methodist Church from September 2005 to June 2010. Deborah'searly professional experience includes being an Assistant Director of Sales at Airlie Center from July 2006 to November 2007, and a Senior Catering Manager at Hyatt Hotels from June 2005 to July 2006.

Deborah's career in the hospitality industry began as an Assistant Director of Catering at B.F. Saul Company Hospitality Group, where they worked from October 1999 to June 2005.

Deborah Porter obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Early Childhood Education from Elizabethtown College, where they studied from 1994 to 1998.
