Jen Murphy

Jen Murphy has over 20 years of experience in human resources roles. Jen currently holds the position of Director of Talent Management & Development at Lansing Building Products since June 2020. In this role, they are responsible for leading the design and deployment of a talent development strategy and enhancing the associate experience and development.

Prior to their current role, Jen worked at Harvey Building Products for over two decades. Jen held various positions including Human Resources Director, HR Business Partner, and Corporate Human Resources Manager. In these roles, they led HR programs and solutions for a large number of employees across multiple locations. Their responsibilities included recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, management training, HRIS, policy administration, metrics reporting, and legal issues. Jen's tenure at Harvey Building Products lasted from August 1996 to June 2020.

Jen Murphy completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management and Sociology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2010. Jen also holds a Strategic Human Resources Management Certificate from Bentley University and a Labor & Employee Relations Certificate from Cornell University ILR School. Additionally, Jen has obtained the PI Practitioner certification from The Predictive Index, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
