Scott Keith, CVE has a diverse work experience in the entertainment and public facilities industry. Scott first started working as a Manager/Consultant at JRV Management, Inc. in April 1996, where they provided management and consultation services for various multi-purpose facilities. Scott then joined The Summit at the Capital Centre in February 1998 as an Assistant General Manager, responsible for overseeing operations, events, personnel, and programming for a large sports and entertainment facility. In July 2001, they transitioned to Lansing Entertainment & Public Facilities Authority, initially serving as an Operations Manager and later promoted to Vice President Operations. In their role as Vice President Operations, Scott had executive management responsibilities for the Operations Department, overseeing a budget of nearly $1.2 million. Finally, in August 2009, they became the President & CEO of Lansing Entertainment & Public Facilities Authority, a position they currently hold.

Scott Keith, CVE holds an M.S. in Sports Administration, which they obtained from Georgia Southern University in 1995. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Physical Education from Liberty University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. In addition to their formal education, Scott has obtained certifications as a Certified Tourism Ambassador (CTA) from the Greater Lansing Convention & Visitors Bureau, and as a Certified Venue Executive from the International Association of Venue Managers.
