Arja Koski

Arja Koski serves as the Director of Business Acceleration at Valmet, focusing on corporate strategy, M&A, and business intelligence to drive growth through new applications and technologies. Arja is a member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee at Länsirata Oy and has been involved with the Directors' Institute Finland since 2015. Previous roles include Director of Strategy and Procurement at Gasgrid, where Arja built a public procurement organization, and various leadership positions at Fortum, including Vice President of Renewables, where a significant wind and wave power portfolio was established. Arja holds an eMBA from Aalto University, an MSc in Organic Chemistry from the University of Helsinki, and advanced training in strategic finance from Harvard Business School, among other qualifications.
