Mark Burns has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry. Mark has held various managerial roles, including Director of Operations at Lanson Place Personal Hotels & Residences. Prior to that, they worked as the General Manager at Pullman Cairns International, Australia for Accor. Mark also served as the General Manager of The Fullerton Hotel Sydney and The Westin Sydney for The Fullerton Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, respectively. Before that, they held managerial positions at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Choice Hotels International, The Dorchester, and The Montcalm Luxury Hotels.
Mark Burns obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Bond University in 1995. In the same year, they also received the certification of "Justice of The Peace, Qualified, Queensland" from the Queensland Government.
