David De Smedt

Strategic Account Executive - Enterprise Segment at Lansweeper

David De Smedt has had a varied career in sales and communications. In 2021, they joined Lansweeper as a Strategic Account Executive - New Business & Account Development in the Enterprise segment. Prior to this, they were Sales Manager for Belgium & Luxembourg at Sage from 2013-2021, during which time they also served as Social Selling Lead and Senior Account Manager. From 2012-2013, they were Team Leader - B2B Marketing and B2B Marketeer at Cantab Marketing Services. In 2010, they were Communications Intern at Comith 4x4 Communication, and in 2007 they were Communications Intern at VZW Jeugdwerking Asse.

David De Smedt obtained a Certificate in Sales Management from Vlerick Business School in 2015. From 2011 to 2012, they obtained a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences: New Media & Society from Ghent University. David also obtained a Bridging programme in Communication Sciences from Ghent University from 2010 to 2011. Finally, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication management: commercial communication from Arteveldehogeschool from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from LinkedIn and Sage, including "Guy Kawasaki on Turning Life Wisdom into Business Success" in 2020, "BTS Leadership Program" in 2019, and "License to lead" from Sage in 2018.
