Angela Flanagan, MSN, RN, CPHIMS

Angela Flanagan, MSN, RN, CPHIMS has been working in the healthcare industry since 2003. Angela began their career as the Diabetes Director at Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System in 2003. In 2009, they took on the role of Nurse Consultant at Indian Health Service. In 2007, they worked as a Certified Diabetes Educator at Quintiles. In 2011, they returned to Absentee Shawnee Tribal Health System as the Clinic Administrator/Health Record Director/Quality Improvement. In 2013, they took on the role of Measures Informatics Specialist at Oklahoma Foundation for Medical Quality. In 2014, they began working at Lantana Consulting Group as the Principal Clinical Analyst Measure Development Specialist, Senior Clinical Quality Analyst, Nurse Informaticist, and Senior Nurse Informaticist, eCQM Lead. In 2021, they became the Oklahoma HIMSS Chapter President at HIMSS.

Angela Flanagan has an MSN in Nursing Informatics from Chamberlain College of Nursing, obtained in 2012. Angela also has an ASN in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Seminole State College (Oklahoma). Additionally, they have a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems from the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, obtained in September 2014.
