David deRoode

David deRoode has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. David began their career as a Lab Assistant/Technician at MU Neurology Research, where they studied the underlying mechanisms of sleep and how drugs influence these mechanisms. In 2014, they took on the role of Electronic Medical Records Chair at MedZou Clinic, as well as a Biology Teaching Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia. That same year, they also interned at Yale New Haven Health. In 2015, they joined CORHIO as a Solutions Developer/Product Owner. Most recently, they have been employed at Lantana Consulting Group since 2018, where they have served as a Sr. Informatics Analyst and CDA/FHIR Analyst.

David deRoode obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2013. David then went on to complete a Masters of Health Administration from the same institution in 2015, with a field of study in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician. In 2018, they received a Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from the Scrum Alliance.
