Molly O'Neil Ballard has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Field Organizer/Regional Lead: PIC Fellow for ORGANIZING FOR AMERICA, where they recruited and created schedules for more than 300 volunteers during the presidential campaign, canvassed an average of 200 doors per week and 175 phone calls per day, created and implemented programs to ensure that voters made it to their proper polling location, mailed in their ballots, and were educated on early voting locations, planned and implemented events, organized and hosted public rallies, and recruited more than 80 volunteers and implemented their participation in community volunteer projects on the National Day of Service. From 2013 to 2015, they were an Environmental Education Park Ranger/Associate Naturalist for Grand Canyon National Park Service. From 2015 to 2016, they were an Institute Instructor for Yellowstone Forever (f/k/a Yellowstone Association). From 2016 to 2018, they were a Graduate Research And Teaching Assistant for Montana State University. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Graduate Research And Teaching Assistant for Montana State University-Bozeman. From 2019 to 2020, they were an Environmental Health Aid for GALLATIN CITY-COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT. From 2020 to 2022, they were a Health Promotion and Outreach Specialist for Park County Health Department. Currently, they are a Public Health Analyst for Lantana Consulting Group.

Molly O'Neil Ballard has a varied educational background. Molly attended Portsmouth Abbey School from 2006 to 2008, then College of Charleston from 2008 to 2012 where they earned a Bachelor's of Science in Geology and Spanish. More recently, they have been attending Montana State University-Bozeman from 2018 to 2020 and is currently pursuing a degree in Community Health.
