Roberta S. has over 30 years of experience in human services. Roberta started their career as an Assistant Vice President at FEGS, working there from 2005 to 2010. Roberta then joined the YMCA as the Director of Y Roads from 2014 to 2016. Following that, they worked as a Clinical Instructor at NYU Silver School of Social Work from 2011 to 2016. In 2016, Roberta joined Goddard Riverside Community Center as an Associate Director and later became the Deputy Executive Director. During their time at Goddard Riverside Community Center, they oversaw various programs and played a key role in the organization's expansion. In 2021, they joined Breaking Ground as the Deputy Vice President, overseeing a portfolio of programs including transitional housing and street outreach. Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer at Lantern Community Services since 2023.

Roberta S. began their education by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from New York University in an unspecified year.
