Reg Hargrove joined Rocky Point Ventures, an Austin-based family office, in 2012. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin (’00) and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman School of Law (’05). Previously, Reg worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the General Counsel Division of the Texas Attorney General’s Office and as a law clerk for Senior US District Judge Donald E Walter. Reg serves as a managing partner of RPV, helping manage RPV’s investment portfolio, which includes early-stage investments, fund investments, and long-term private equity holdings. In addition to Lantha Sensors, he sits on the Board of Directors of Greenwood Fabricating and Plating, LLC and New Ravenna Mosaics, LLC.
Reg also serves on the Finance Committee of Hillside Early Childhood Center, and he formerly served as Treasurer for the Board of Trustees at Good Shepherd Episcopal School in Austin.
Reg lives in Austin with his wife, three sons, and dog.
