Stephany Garcia McClements, Ph.D.

Stephany Garcia McClements, Ph.D. has worked in a variety of roles since 2010. Stephany began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin, where they developed and patented novel cost-effective bi-metallic nanocatalysts synthesized using innovative chemical methods. Stephany also performed in-depth catalytic data analysis and was experienced in materials characterization. In 2015, they moved to Inaeris Technologies as a Catalyst Development Research Scientist, where they were skilled in complex laboratory techniques and served as a safety officer. In 2017, they became the Sales Manager at Porocel International. Most recently, in 2019, they joined LanthaSensors as the VP of Business Development.

Stephany Garcia McClements, Ph.D. began their educational journey at Randolph-Macon College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry and Business/Economics in 2010. Stephany then went on to The University of Texas at Austin, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry in 2014.
