Vamsidhar Akurathi

Vamsidhar Akurathi currently serves as a Sr. Scientist II at Lantheus since March 2024. Prior to this role, Vamsidhar managed a laboratory at The University of Iowa Health Care from March 2017 to March 2024. Vamsidhar's experience also includes positions as a Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, respectively, from February 2012 to February 2017. Vamsidhar obtained a PhD in Radiopharmaceutical Sciences from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, where studies were completed from November 2007 to January 2012. Vamsidhar holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from KU Leuven, earned between 2005 and 2007, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree from JSS. Early professional experience includes a trainee position at Hyglos GmbH in 2005.
