David Wilfert

Operations Manager at Lantos Technologies

David Wilfert has held a variety of positions in the engineering and operations fields since 1985. From 1985 to 1998, they worked as a Senior Lab Technician at Joseph Pollak/Stoneridge, where they designed and built computer operated electro-mechanical test equipment for the automotive industry. From 1998 to 2012, they worked as a Test Engineer at ITW/Ark-Les Corporation, where they designed and built automatic test equipment to prove product reliability as well as safety to UL, automotive and customer test specs for R&D as well as manufacturing. In 2012, they worked as a Consultant at ITW Pancon, where they designed, built, programmed and troubleshot automatic test equipment to prove product reliability using an Agilent data acquisition system and CTC (Control Technology Corp. ) 2601 PLCs with quickstep software. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Test Technician at Lantos Technologies, where they were responsible for setting up and running all aspects of the test laboratory and performing failure analysis of products to the component level to determine root cause. Finally, from 2013 to present, they have been working as an Operations Manager and Electro-Mechanical/Quality Assurance Engineer at Lantos Technologies, where they have developed a production department from scratch to develop custom anatomically correct earbuds with ear scans from a digital 3D scanner, specified and purchased production equipment and supplies, worked with vendors and employees managing inventory and expediting outstanding orders, and performed testing 3D ear scanner software and hardware for function, accuracy and user-friendliness.

David Wilfert's education history includes attending Weymouth Vocational Technical High from 1974 to 1977, where they received a Certificate in Electronics. From 1985 to 2002, they attended Massasoit Community College, studying Electronics & Programming. David also attended Wentworth Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained a Certificate in AutoCad. Additionally, Wilfert has obtained various certifications, such as Uechi-ryu Karate certified judge and instructor, DasyLab programming certified, ISO/TS16949:2009 Quality Lead Auditor, Autocad certification from Wentworth Institute of Technology, and Certified Control System Technician (CCST).
