John Henning Obe

John Henning OBE serves as the 37th President of the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society and is a Trustee and Immediate Past National Chairman for the Council for Awards of Royal Agricultural Societies. With a long-standing commitment to the agricultural sector, John is also a General Committee Member of The Farmers Club and a Trustee of Lantra, where John chairs the National Council in Northern Ireland. A Nuffield Farming Scholar since 1996, John has a focus on agricultural shows' future roles and directions. Additional positions include President and Trustee of Gleno Valley Young Farmers' Club, Governor at the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers, and an Honorary Affiliate of the North of Ireland Veterinary Association. John's educational background includes courses in Animal/Livestock Husbandry and Production from The Open University.
