Lanxess
Hubert Fink was born in Jülich in 1962. He completed his studies in process engineering at RWTH Aachen University in 1988 with a doctorate in engineering. from. In 1992 he completed an additional economics course at RWTH Aachen University with a degree in industrial engineering.
Fink joined Bayer AG in 1988. After various tasks in production, plant construction and group administration, he took over responsibility for Global Operations Semi-Crystalline Products in the Bayer Polymers subgroup in 2002.
When LANXESS was founded, Fink took over as head of the Semi-Crystalline Products business unit in 2004. He has headed the Advanced Industrial Intermediates business unit since 2011.
On September 22, 2015, Hubert Fink was appointed by the LANXESS AG Supervisory Board as a new member of the Management Board with effect from October 1, 2015.
Fink is married and has two children.
