Scott Kongkitisupchai

Scott Kongkitisupchai, PhD has over 20 years of experience in various roles related to engineering and technology development. Scott is currently the Director of Engineering at LanzaTech, where they lead a team in optimizing and implementing chemical production processes and equipment. Prior to this, Scott worked as the Vice President of Technology Development at The Brain Group, Inc. and as a Principal Research Lead at LyondellBasell, where they managed innovation projects and achieved significant cost savings. Scott also served as a Technology Manager at Merichem Company, leading the development and deployment of new equipment. Before that, Scott was a Process Engineering Lead at UOP, where they delivered engineering designs to global clients. Scott began their career as a Sr. Process Engineer at Amvac Chemical Corp. and as a Design Engineer at PD Engineering LLC, where they executed client projects and designed prototypes.

Scott Kongkitisupchai, PhD has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Scott also holds additional certifications including Professional Engineer from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA), Six Sigma - Green Belt, and EIT from the State of California. Additionally, they have certifications in ISO Internal Auditor and Safety Training complied with OSHA 1910.119(g)(h) from Honeywell.
