Stephanie R. Jones

Stephanie R. Jones has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Stephanie R. currently holds the position of Lead Scientist at LanzaTech since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at LanzaTech as Senior Scientist and Scientist in the field of Enzymology from 2019 to 2022. Stephanie also has experience working at iMicrobes (Industrial Microbes, Inc.), where they served as a Consultant and Scientist II from 2016 to 2019. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Berkeley from 2015 to 2016. Stephanie's academic research experience includes being a Graduate Research Scientist at both UC Berkeley from 2009 to 2015 and the University of Cambridge from 2008 to 2009. Stephanie R. also gained research experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2005 to 2008 and as a Research Intern at Liquidia Technologies in 2007.

Stephanie R. Jones completed their education with a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that, they pursued an M. Phil. in Chemistry at the University of Cambridge from 2008 to 2009. Stephanie R. obtained their B.S degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Entrepreneurship from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 2004 and 2008. Stephanie also attended the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from 2002 to 2004.
