Liisa Niiranen

Liisa Niiranen is an experienced social services leader currently serving as the Sosiaalijohtaja at Lapin hyvinvointialue since August 2022. Prior to this role, Liisa held various positions at Kemin kaupunki from October 1993 to January 2023, including Director of social and health care services and Vanhus- ja vammaispalvelujohtaja. Additionally, Liisa worked as a Muutosagentti at Pohjois-Suomen sosiaalialan osaamiskeskus between October 2016 and December 2017. Liisa Niiranen holds a degree in social policy and social work (YTM) from the University of Lapland, where studies were completed from 1982 to 1988.
