Dr. Janet Lapp

Dr. Janet Lapp, CSP, CPAE started their work experience in 1966 at McGill University, where they worked at the Allan Memorial Institute. Dr. Janet then became an Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Concordia University in 1978 before joining California State University as an Associate Professor of Psychology in 1981. In 1986, they founded LAPP USA and served as the Founder of the Center for Leadership Development. Dr. Lapp also volunteered as a Pilot and Clinic Coordinator for Liga International and served as the Past-President and Founder of Liga Mujeres. Since 1988, they have been working at Dr. Janet Lapp Inc. as a Paychologist, Speaker, and Author, focusing on engaging, entertaining, and inspiring people to adapt the necessary skills and mindsets for success. Dr. Janet has spoken to over 2,800 organizations worldwide in three languages.

Dr. Janet Lapp, CSP, CPAE earned their Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from McGill University between 1975 and 1980. During the same period, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Behavioral Medicine and Neuropsychology from McGill University Faculty of Graduate Studies. Dr. Janet also holds a BA Honours degree from Concordia University, which they obtained in 1975. Dr. Lapp obtained their license as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist from the Board of Medical Quality Assurance in August 1981.
