Andrew Robertson CBE DSc LLB has extensive experience in leadership and governance across various organizations. Currently serving as Chairman of the Board for LAR Housing Trust since January 2016, Andrew has been integral in the provision of affordable housing. As Vice President of The Carers Trust since May 1990, Andrew played a key role in the establishment of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers and its subsequent merger in 2012. Previous leadership positions include Chairman of Erskine Hospital, Chairman of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and Chairman of the Scottish Building Society. Andrew also served as Senior Partner at TC Young LLP, specializing in social housing and charity law, until retirement in 2006. Educational background includes an LL.B. from the University of Edinburgh Law School.
