Alfonso Morales

Alfonso Morales is the current CEO of Behavioral Health Services at Larkin Community Hospital, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as a case management coordinator at Palmetto General Hosp Hm Hlth from January 2014 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for fostering hospital stays that were effective and cost efficient without affecting quality. Alfonso also has experience with adult and geriatric psychiatry, and was tasked with assessing DC barriers at admission and working with community resources to satisfy patient’s outpatient needs. Additionally, they networked with vendors and added different providers to the current vendor list, provided patients with choices of various healthcare needs, such as placement, DME, hospice, etc., explored risks for re-admissions, and improved the DC planning process that reduced the average DC time from 7 hours to 2.5 hours. Prior to this role, Alfonso Morales worked as an RN at HOSPITAL SAN JUAN CAPESTRANO from January 2013 to December 2014.
