Shira Engelberg is a Scientist II at Sail Biomedicines since October 2022, previously holding the position of Scientist I. Prior experience includes serving as a teaching assistant for courses on Engineering of Biological Processes and Materials and Structure and Properties of Food and Biological Materials at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from October 2016 to October 2022. Shira Engelberg also has a background in the Israeli Air Force, where responsibilities included being an air defense commander in the northern control unit from August 2008 to August 2010. Shira Engelberg earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biotechnology and Food Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, completed in August 2022.
