Joseph Whitehead

Joseph Whitehead, PHR, MBA has extensive experience in human resources and HRIS management. Their most recent role was as Director of HRIS, People and Culture at The Larry H. Miller Company, where they partnered with stakeholders to improve work processes and leverage technology capabilities. Prior to that, Joseph was the Human Resources Director at Avalon Health Care Group, where they developed reports to address turnover and overtime issues. Joseph also served as Senior Manager of HRIS and Payroll at Progrexion, managing compliance reporting and developing standard operating procedures. Joseph has also worked as a Human Resource Consultant at BBSI, Manager of Human Resources at 3form, and Human Resource Advisor at A Plus Benefits, where they designed policies and procedures for client companies. Additionally, they gained experience in office management and customer service roles at Salt Lake Neighborhood Housing Services and HOMESTEAD VILLAGE / STUDIO.

Joseph Whitehead, PHR, MBA has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus in Business Administration, Management, and Strategy from Western Governors University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a specialization in Human Resource Management from the same university, completing it from 2010 to 2011. In addition to their degrees, Joseph also holds the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Joseph has also obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in July 2015.
