Raul Ramirez

Raul Ramirez has over two decades of experience in the field of substance abuse counseling and management. Currently serving as a Utilization Manager at Aurora Las Encinas Hospital since January 2014, Raul manages patient authorizations and oversees PHP and IOP levels of care. Additionally, Raul has been a Substance Abuse Counselor at Las Encinas Hospital since June 2003, where responsibilities include facilitating groups, case management, treatment planning, and utilization review. Previously, Raul worked as an Addiction Counselor and HIV Outreach and Prevention Specialist at LA CADA from January 2002 to June 2003, focusing on group facilitation and HIV prevention in the San Gabriel Valley. Raul's career began at UPS, where responsibilities included package delivery from March 1988 to December 2001. Raul holds a State Certification in Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling from Crescent College, earned between 2001 and 2003.
