Abigael Schams

Abigael Schams has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. Abigael started their career as an Attorney at Tabak Law, LLC in 2015. Abigael then moved on to work as a Compliance Officer at InCheck Inc. from an unspecified time in 2016 until 2019. In this role, they were responsible for drafting and reviewing documents, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws, and identifying potential compliance vulnerabilities.

Currently, they are employed at Las Vegas Sands Corp. Since April 2019, they have held the position of Associate Compliance Counsel. In this role, they have shown their understanding and expertise in multiple legal areas, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations. Abigael has also been involved in conducting compliance investigations and leading the global human trafficking prevention program at all Las Vegas Sands properties. In September 2021, they were promoted to the role of Compliance Counsel, where they continue to contribute their knowledge and skills to the organization.

Abigael Schams completed their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2008 to 2012. Later, they pursued their Juris Doctorate at Marquette University Law School from 2012 to 2015.
