James Holman

James Holman serves as the Director, Compliance Counsel at Altais since January 2023, overseeing compliance and privacy for a corporate family of healthcare entities. Prior experience includes working as Compliance Counsel at Brown & Toland Physicians, where James managed adherence to federal and state healthcare laws and liaised with regulatory bodies. At Health Plan of San Mateo, James was the Compliance Manager and Privacy Officer, leading operations compliance across multiple lines of business. Earlier roles include Senior Healthcare Consultant at Ernst & Young, focusing on compliance assessments, and Compliance Analyst at Humana, where James developed a corporate delegation oversight program. James holds a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law with a certificate in Health Law and a B.S. from Olivet Nazarene University in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Political Science.
