Director - HR Operations at Las Vegas Sands

Coy Epley has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career as a Legal Secretary at The Law Offices of Fred H. Middaugh in 2006, where they handled administrative tasks and supported attorneys with case preparation. Following this, they worked as a Canvasser for Grassroots Campaigns, recruiting members and campaigning for progressive issues. They also served as a Field Organizer for MoveOn.org during the 2006 midterm election season.

In 2008, Epley joined Powerwave Technologies as an HR Coordinator, responsible for employee data entry, benefits administration, and HR helpdesk support. They later transitioned to the role of HR Coordinator II, expanding their responsibilities to include compensation and leave management. They also took on the role of an HRIS Coordinator, handling global data entry and maintaining HR files.

Epley then joined Kelley Blue Book as an HR Coordinator, being the first point of contact for HR inquiries. They later became an HR Generalist, assisting with employee relations and disciplinary actions.

In 2016, Epley became the Director of People Operations at Ghost Management Group, LLC. They managed the overall administration of the HR function, including performance management, policy recommendations, compensation, and employee relations. They also supervised the People Operations and Office Support departments.

From 2017 to 2019, Epley worked as a Senior Business Partner in HR at MOBIS Parts America, overseeing HR special projects, HR systems, talent acquisition, and reporting.

Most recently, Epley joined Las Vegas Sands Corp. in 2019 as the Director of HR Operations. Their responsibilities include managing HR support for corporate departments, overseeing hiring and onboarding processes, and supporting employee relations and compliance. Before this role, they held positions such as Senior Manager of HR Operations, Manager of Corporate Human Resources, and Senior Analyst of HRIS at the same company.

Throughout their career, Epley has consistently demonstrated their strong HR expertise and ability to manage various HR functions across different industries and organizations.

Coy Epley has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resources from Brandman University. They also hold a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Social Science from Colorado State University. Coy has additional certifications including a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification obtained from HRCI in November 2015, an Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification obtained from the American Red Cross in February 2014, and a certification in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University - Chapman University System.
