Erik Sandstedt

Erik Sandstedt has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Most recently, they served as the SVP and Global Chief Compliance Officer at Las Vegas Sands Corp. starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Member of the Firm at Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC from 2019 to 2022. From 2016 to 2019, they held the position of Senior Vice President, Compliance Regulatory & Ethics at McKesson. Erik also worked at Pfizer as the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, Global Investigations from 2008 to 2016. Before that, they served as the Chief, Securities & Health Care Fraud at the U.S. Department of Justice in 2007 and held the role of Partner at Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP from 2002 to 2007. Erik gained experience in the government sector as the Deputy Chief of Staff, Criminal Division and Assistant U.S. Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice from 1998 to 2002. Erik started their legal career as an Associate at Latham & Watkins from 1995 to 1998.

Erik Sandstedt attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1988 to 1992, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Columbia Law School from 1992 to 1995, completing their Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a focus on Law.
