Network Operations Center Technician at Las Vegas Sands

German Ridgell has a wide range of work experience. German began their career in 2000 at Sitel, where they worked as a Technical/Customer Service representative. German then moved on to M&I Portfolio Services, where they served as a Junior Associate, handling various tasks such as preparing board books and developing training procedures. German also worked at JoelMark LLC as an Accounting Assistant.

In 2003, German joined UNLV/CAEO as an Instructor Assistant/Tutor, providing support in teaching and tutoring services. German later worked at Nevada Legal News as a Project Manager and IT Administrator.

German then worked at SVS Software Development, LLC as a Software Tester and System Designer. German contributed to software testing and system design activities.

In 2007, German joined Konami Gaming, Inc., where they held the position of IT Help Desk support. German played a crucial role in building the IT department and improving business processes.

German also worked at Las Vegas Valley Water District as a HelpDesk Support representative and at Las Vegas Sands Corp., where they held multiple roles. At Las Vegas Sands Corp., they served as a Network Operations Center Technician, monitoring infrastructure and application environments. German also worked in Identity Access Management, where they managed Office 365 users and Active Directory.

Lastly, German currently works as a System Engineer at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, utilizing their expertise in system engineering.

German Ridgell obtained a High School Diploma in Educational Psychology from Ed W. Clark High School in 1999. German then attended the College of Southern Nevada from 2001 to 2004, where they earned an Associates degree in General studies. From 2002 to 2006, German Ridgell studied Economics and Philosophy at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and obtained a Bachelor's degree. In addition to their formal education, German Ridgell also obtained several certifications, including ITIL Intermediate - Continual Service Improvement from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2019, ITIL Intermediate - Service Offerings and Agreements from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2018, and Certified Information System Security Professional from (ISC)² in October 2017, among others.
