Thierno Mamoudou Diallo

Thierno Mamoudou Diallo, Ph.D, serves as an Adjunct Professor and University Lecturer at Université de Sherbrooke since January 2017, specializing in semiconductors and thin films for graduate students. Diallo has extensive experience in R&D as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Researcher, focusing on the epitaxial growth of III-V and IV semiconductor materials on graphene for optoelectronic applications. Currently, Diallo also works at LASER COMPONENTS as an R&D Opto-Electronics and III-V Semiconductor Specialist, where the responsibilities include developing pulsed laser diodes and managing fabrication processes. Past roles included Internal Communication Manager at Fondation Arbour and research positions at C2N and Université de Cergy-Pontoise, contributing to significant advancements in semiconductor characterization and growth techniques. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke, as well as multiple master's degrees in engineering physics and condensed matter physics.
