Ruben Mercado

Ruben Mercado currently serves as the Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations at Fairstead since November 2022. Additionally, Ruben has held the position of Director of Infrastructure and IT Operations at LaserShip since April 2018 and has been with Meridian Knowledge Solutions and VIP as Director of Information Technology and Hosting Operations, as well as Systems Operations Manager, since February 2011. Prior experience includes roles as Sr. Systems Engineer at Guident Technologies (January 2010 - October 2010), where responsibilities included architecture and deployment of secure virtualization solutions, and at Cox Communications (December 2008 - January 2010), overseeing complex enterprise systems within the data center. Ruben's career began at the National Science Foundation from June 2006 to January 2010, managing the NSF data center and focusing on system servers and virtualization.
