Chentao Yu

Chentao Yu is a skilled aerospace engineer with extensive experience in both education and industry. Currently serving as a Field Services Engineer at Lasertec Corporation since July 2020, Chentao has previously held several leadership roles within the AeroDesign Team of USC, where notable achievements include winning 1st place in the Design, Build, Fly competition organized by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and conducting performance trade studies. Chentao also interned at Cedars-Sinai, where contributions included designing parts for MRI machines and optimizing MATLAB codes for simulations. Additionally, Chentao has experience as a performer in the USC Trojan Marching Band, a teaching assistant at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, and a research volunteer focused on drug diffusion within eye tissues. Chentao holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California.
