Kaarin Lanyi

Kaarin Lanyi has a diverse work experience starting in 2004 as a freelance makeup artist. Kaarin provided makeup application and design for various television programs, advertisements, publications, and celebrity clients. In 2008, they transitioned to working as a freelance cosmetic product development consultant, offering services such as sourcing, pricing, packaging development, formula and shade evaluation, and marketing strategy for independent beauty projects. In 2014, they became a Product Development Manager at Spartan Brands, Inc., where they rebranded and expanded the product assortment of the women's nutrient-infused holistic beauty line, Beautiful Nutrition. Kaarin also identified white space opportunities for products combining nutrition, health, and beauty. In 2015, Lanyi joined Almar Sales as the Director of Product Development and Marketing for Cosmetics, where they grew color cosmetics revenue by 1000% in 2.5 years and established Almar as a key vendor in off-price and mass markets. In 2017, they co-founded Beta Beauty Lab, LLC, an innovation incubator specializing in the beauty, personal care, and wellness spaces. Finally, in 2022, they joined Lashify© as an Innovation Executive and later promoted to the VP of Product Innovation in 2023.

Kaarin Lanyi pursued their higher education, starting from 1999 to 2001, at UC Irvine. During their time at UC Irvine, they focused on the field of study related to Dance. Following this, from 2001 to 2003, Kaarin attended New York University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Kaarin'sspecific area of study at New York University was Urban Design and Architecture Studies.
