Claudia Binder

Claudia Binder has extensive work experience in research and development roles. Claudia currently holds the position of Head of Research and Development - Division Building Materials at Lasselsberger Group since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Analysis Engineer Fuels and Oils at Aurobay (Powertrain Engineering Sweden AB) from February 2022 to April 2023.

From September 2019 to October 2021, Claudia worked as a Research Scientist at Johnson Matthey, where they focused on developing sustainable processes for recycling end-of-life products. Claudia was involved in a range of activities, including research, method development, collaboration with pilot plant teams, and patent application development.

Claudia's earlier experience includes roles such as a Postgraduate Researcher at the University of South Australia, Research and Development Intern at Infineon Technologies Austria AG, Research Intern at Chalmers University of Technology, Development and Research Intern at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH, Intern at OMV, Research Intern at AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH, and Development Intern at Borealis Agrolinz Melamine GmbH.

Claudia Binder began their education at Technische Universität Wien in 2012, where they pursued a degree in Material Chemistry. Claudia completed their studies in 2015 and earned a Diplom-Ingenieurin degree, which is equivalent to a Master of Science. Afterward, Claudia enrolled at the University of South Australia in 2016 to further their education. Claudia focused on Physical Chemistry and Microfluidics during their time there, ultimately obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in 2020.
