Raphael Farasat has extensive experience in the branding and venture studio industry. Raphael began their career in 2012 as the Brand Management for Umami Restaurant Group, LLC, where they helped the organization grow from 5 to 17 locations. In this role, they oversaw international business development, served as in-house counsel, managed the revamp of the UMAMIcatessen restaurant, and launched and managed products for a retail products line. In 2018, they co-founded HUMBL and in 2019 they became the Investor & Founding Chief Creative Officer of Sweet Nothings. In 2020, they became the Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Last Crumb and in 2021 they invested in Better Brand. Raphael has also been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, Fast Company, Inc, and the LA Times.
Raphael Farasat's education history includes obtaining a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles between 2010 and 2013, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola Marymount University between 2012 and 2013, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business between 2006 and 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from Indiana University Bloomington between 2006 and 2009. Raphael also completed a semester study abroad at Universidad de Belgrano.
