Joshua A. Tolbert

Joshua A. Tolbert is the current VP of Engineering at Last Energy. Prior to this, they were an Assistant Professor at Kennesaw State University - Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology, where they taught design and manufacturing classes including statics, thermodynamics, machining, welding, GD&T, solidworks, and drafting. Joshua was also a founding partner at Tolbert Technologies Inc., where they spearhead development of businesses in the field of developing and manufacturing industrial equipment. Tolbert has also worked as a New Product Development Engineer at Benchmark Wedding Rings and an Instructor at SUMTER COUNTY SCHOOLS.

Joshua A. Tolbert has a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama, and a Master's degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics from The University of Alabama. Joshua also has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alabama. Joshua is certified by the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission as a Level 1A Fundamentals (Blue Card) holder, by the Georgia Secretary of State as a Professional Engineering License holder, and by the State of Washington as a Professional Engineer License holder. Joshua is also certified by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as a Qualified Process Heating System Specialist and as a Qualified Fan System Specialist.
