Zolaikha Strong

Zolaikha Strong is the current Head of U.S. Government Affairs at Last Energy. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Legislative Affairs at the National Hydropower Association from March 2021 to January 2022. From September 2010 to March 2021, they were the Director of Energy Policy & Clean Energy Markets at the Copper Development Association Inc. From January 2008 to September 2010, they served as the Manager of Federal Regulatory Affairs at the Edison Electric Institute. From July 2003 to January 2008, Strong worked as an Energy Analyst in Energy Market Regulation at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Strong began their career in 1997 as a Financial Analyst in Mergers & Acquisitions at The Kraft Heinz Company, where they worked until 2000.

Zolaikha Strong has a Masters from Columbia University - School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Science In Business Administration from Seton Hall University - Stillman School of Business.

They are on a team with Michelle Brechtelsbauer - Head of Strategy & UK Programme Lead, Joshua A. Tolbert - VP, Engineering, and Amandine M. - Head of International Government Affairs. Zolaikha Strong reports to Bret Kugelmass, CEO & Founder.
