Alex Mahnke

Alex Mahnke has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Alex started their career in 2012 by founding Mahnke Labs, LLC, where they served as the Founder & CEO. The company focused on creating exceptional consumer electronics with a focus on simplicity and functionality.

In 2015, Alex joined TEAM Industries, Inc. as an Engineering Associate. Alex played a crucial role in the company's mission of delivering high-quality pipe fabrication and fabricated vessels. Alex worked there until August 2018.

In 2019, Alex worked as a Research Associate at Hyper Innovation, where they gained valuable experience in logistics utilizing Bluetooth, RFID tracking, and NFC tags in cargo transportation. Alex helped establish and test a competitive strategy for a Fortune 1000 company in this space.

Most recently, in 2020, Alex joined Last Lock as the Director of Product. Alex has been responsible for the development of miniaturization, reduction of quiescent current, and increasing energy harvesting of products. Alex led the integration of various technologies, including Low Frequency RFID, NFC, Ultra-Wideband (UWB), and LTE Cat-M (low-power IoT cellular).

Alex Mahnke completed their high school education at Kaukauna High School from 2011 to 2015, earning a High School Diploma. They then attended the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Entrepreneurship. Following this, Alex enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 and graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Physics. In addition to their formal education, Alex obtained the Level One - Youth Apprenticeship certification from the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development in May 2015. They also received the Moody's Mega Math (M3) Challenge 2015 certification from the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) in the same year.
