Ben Ganley

Senior Director Marketing Operations & Strategy at LastPass

Ben Ganley has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Ben most recently served as the Senior Director of Marketing Operations & Strategy at LastPass since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Marketing Operations & Quality Control at DiDi International Business from April 2021 to November 2022. At Huawei Technologies, Ben held the position of Marketing Operations Director for the Western Europe Region & Australia from September 2016 to March 2021.

Before moving into the technology industry, Ben established their own business, Klavze28, in 2011. As the owner, they oversaw the sourcing, design, and setup of a guesthouse in Slovenia, focusing on local sustainability. Ben also managed a local team to oversee the operations of the property until August 2020.

Prior to their entrepreneurial venture, Ben worked at Samsung Electronics UK as the Marketing Operations Change Programme Manager from January 2013 to August 2016, where they led a transformation of the company's GTM workflows and processes. Ben achieved significant cost savings and improvements in go-to-market speed. Ben also gained experience in the finance and insurance industry, working at Royal Bank of Scotland as a Product and Proposition Development Manager from December 2007 to March 2010, where they launched major insurance products and oversaw project delivery.

At AXA, Ben held various finance, governance, and business roles over eight years. These roles included Business Executive from 2006 to 2007, providing analysis and reporting to the Personal Lines business, and Governance Manager from 2003 to 2006, where they developed the governance framework for AXA's B2B business model. Overall, Ben Ganley has a strong background in marketing operations, strategy, and business development gained through their work experience in different industries.

Ben Ganley attended the University of South Australia from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained a degree in Accounting and Finance. In 2021, they enrolled in the Marketing Week Mini MBA program with Mark Ritson, specializing in Brand Management. Additionally, they received certifications as a Founding Member from The Marketing Social in March 2023 and as a Prof G Certified Brand Strategist from Section4 in November 2020.
