Jenny Cowan

Jenny Cowan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jenny is currently working at Later as the Content Design Team Lead, a role they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they were a UX Writer and Team Lead at Later from May 2022 to September 2022, and a Lead UX Writer from August 2021 to May 2022. Starting their career at Later in July 2019, Jenny worked as a UX Writer until August 2021.

In addition to their roles at Later, Jenny also worked as an Instructor at UX Content Collective from September 2021. Previously, they were an Editor at Hidden Gems Vancouver from January 2016.

Jenny's earlier work experience includes roles at Best Buy Canada, where they were a UX Writer from March 2018 to June 2019, a Senior Copywriter from June 2014 to May 2018, and a Product Content Copywriter from November 2012 to June 2014. Jenny also worked as a Web Content Manager at Zed Media from November 2011 to June 2012, and as a Freelance Writer and Copy Editor at Demand Studios from April 2011 to November 2011.

Before that, Jenny worked at Trafalgar Tours as a Copywriter, Community Manager, and Social Media Executive from February 2010 to January 2011, and as a Web Content Assistant (Temporary) from August 2009 to December 2009. Jenny began their career at Stockwatch as a Copy Editor and Business Reporter from April 2004 to April 2009.

Jenny Cowan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language from the University of British Columbia. Jenny also completed the Canadian Securities Course at the Canadian Securities Institute. Additionally, they have taken a UX Content Research & Testing Course at the UX Content Collective. The exact start and end years of their education are not provided.
