Natalie Dee has a diverse work experience in various roles. Natalie started working at CiTR 101.9 FM and Discorder Magazine as a Contributing Writer and Volunteer from March 2014 to September 2016. Natalie then worked at ILSC Education Group as an English Language Teacher/Head Teacher for a brief period in July 2017. Natalie joined The University of British Columbia as a Cultural Assistant in April 2016 and later became the Head Cultural Assistant from December 2017 to September 2018. Natalie was responsible for coordinating events and managing language acquisition programs for ESL students. In October 2018, Natalie worked as a Publications and Events Officer at Langara College, where they assisted with event logistics, website updates, and email communications until March 2019. Natalie returned to Langara College in February 2020 as an Events and Publications Specialist, focusing on website updates, college publications, and email communications. Natalie then transitioned to Rise People in October 2020, working as a UX Writer until June 2021. Their responsibilities included creating clear and concise copy for various user interfaces. Natalie also worked at The Permanent Rain Press as a Staff Writer and Web Developer from February 2016 to August 2021, where they wrote music reviews, conducted interviews, and contributed to website development. Additionally, Natalie worked at CREST.BD from February 2021 until the present as a UX Writer and Content Designer for a mobile app project aimed at improving the quality of life for people with bipolar disorder. Currently, Natalie holds the position of Content Designer at Later, starting in September 2022.

Natalie Dee has a diverse education history. Natalie began their education in 2012 at The University of British Columbia, where they studied English Literature and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2017. During their time at UBC, Natalie also attended Maastricht University for a brief period in 2015. In 2019, Natalie enrolled at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, pursuing an Interaction Design Certificate.

In addition to their formal education, Natalie holds a Cambridge Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA), which they obtained in August 2015 from the International House Vancouver.
