Alan Milsted

Alan Milsted is an experienced counselor at Latham Centers, Inc. since June 2014, and has actively volunteered with various human rights and community organizations in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, since 2006. Milsted served as a commissioner for the Barnstable County Human Rights Advisory Commission from 2013 to 2020, including two years as Chair, and has held multiple roles in support of local arts and education initiatives. With a background in education management as Director of School Operations at The Academy of Performing Arts and Administrator at Waldorf School of Cape Cod, Milsted also has extensive experience as an independent consultant in the UK, advising educational institutions on governance and funding. Milsted holds several educational qualifications, including a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Exeter and a Diploma in Education from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
